Position Opening: Experienced Nuclear Engineer

An opening exists for an  Nuclear Engineer in Las Vegas, NV which entails
work for the Yucca Mountain Project.
The position description is as follows:

Assist in the design and development radiological monitoring types of
instrumentation.  Applied experience is essential for this position with a
minimum of 10 years of design and in-plant experience required.   Airborne
sampling as well as direct radiation monitoring experience must be included
in the exprience base.  A minimum of a BS degree in Nuclear Engineering is
required;  advanced degrees in NuE are also considered as important.  All
safety  related design activities are to be performed within an NQA-1
quality assurance environment and in accordance with the repository Quality
Assurance program. Other duties shall include the preparation and
presentation of briefings describing analysis and design related activities
as well as safety related concepts.
