Lead containers for radioactive sources

At LSU we have several lead containers which are being surplused from our
Nuclear Engineering Department.  My questions are:

1. Is there a market for these containers? They are about 2 inches thick and
have a beveled door for access.

2. What is a reasonable price to ask for the salvage value of the lead?
