Se-75 for industrial radiography

I would be interested in hearing any comments or concerns from the more
knowledgeable list members than myself about the use of Se-75 for industrial
radiography.

My understanding is that Se-75 has been used for this purpose in the middle
east, U.K and possibly elsewhere in Europe. Has it been used in the U.S ?

Many of the important parameters from someone wishing to use it look quite
good (half life 118 days, gamma constant 0.48 R/h/Ci @ 1m, energies - 66 keV
410 keV, useful thickness range 4mm - 28mm).

Does any one know of any particular safety concerns applying to this isotope
that warrant special consideration.

Your comments are welcome.
