Detection of radiologically contaminated aerosols.

     RadSafers:

My detection/instrumention background is a bit rusty, hence I present
     the following question......

Is there any means of detecting/measuring radiologically contaminated
(alpha, beta, gamma, neutron) aerosols? If there is, can measurement
be made directly on the aerosol or must the aerosol be vaporized
first? Any suggestions/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

     Thanks in advance.
