Alan,

There is no lifetime dose limit in the US.  It has been much discussed but would
seem to be counterproductive.  In principle, the older the person, the lower the
risk associated with a given dose.  If a person already has high enough dose to
affect his/her life expectancy, it would further reduce the theoretical risk from
additional dose.
