Grid Problems

In encountering grid problems on a mammographic unit, it was mentioned that
the heating pad used by the facility was a great deal hotter than previous
heating pads.  Whether this could be a cause of the grid problems I am not
sure.  Any comments or information would be greatly appreciated.
