Caldicott conference this weekend Sept. 26/27 1998

     As many of you know, Helen Caldicott has planned an anti-nuclear conference 
     for this weekend, September 26/27. It seems to me that this confernce is a 
     publicity stunt that was purposely planned for the weekend, when the news 
     organizations do not have much news and may turn to this conference for 
     program filler. It will be interesting to see if CNN etc takes the bait.

     Something else to watch for: On Sat. 9/26 there will be flags posted at the 
     Ward Valley low level waste site by the National Association of Cancer 
     Paitents to symbolize the group's desire for a cure for cancer and it's 
     support of the Ward Valley LLRW site. I wonder if there will be any media 
     coverage of that event?
