SI topic
For those who really object to SI units there is the burning question of
how 1999 is to be expressed, as MCMXCIX or MIM?
Short answer: MCMXCIX
Long answer: MIM would be more convenient, but nobody ever accused Roman
numerals of being convenient.
Quoted from the NIST office of Information Services. See FAQ at Y2K page,
www.NIST.GOV.
The SI tag was the best I could do to establish RADSAFE relevance, and
hence avoid the wrath of MW.
