SEMI-OFFICIAL NOTICE OF ANS TRINITY SECTION DINNER MEETING




     Dear RADSAFERs: Could you please publicize this on other e-mail lists

     Date and Time: Friday, October 30; social hour 6 PM, dinner 7PM, 
     program, 8-8:15 PM
     
     Speaker: Dr. Peter Lyons
        Dr. Lyons is currently on assignment for LANL in Senator Pete 
     Domenici's office as technical advisor on nuclear and related issues.  
     Dr. Lyons has held a number of technical and management positions 
     during his 25-year career at LANL.  He is now completing his second 
     year in the Senator's office.  He will discuss some of the nuclear 
     policies and initiatives that are being driven from the Senator's 
     office.
     
     Place:  La Fonda, 100 E San Francisco St, Santa Fe, NM (505-982-5511)
        Directions:  Exit I-25 at exit 284, Old Pecos Trail.  At the stop 
     sign at the top of the hill, turn left.  Proceed north to the third 
     traffic light and bear right to stay on Old Pecos Trail into town.  
     Old Pecos Trail becomes Old Santa Fe Trail which dead ends into La 
     Fonda at Water Street.  Go round the hotel: left on Water, then 
     immediately right.  At the traffic light at San Francisco St. turn 
     right again -- away from the Plaza and toward St. Francis Cathedral.  
     Proceed to the hotel parking garage at the end of the block,  on the 
     right.
     
     Menu: Mexicana buffet: garden salad, chicken and cheese enchiladas w. 
     red and green chili, veggie tamales, posole, rice, beans tortillas, 
     natillas, biscochitos.  All for the low price of $22.00.
