One additional geometry consideration is pertinent if the thickness of 
the wall is appreciable compared to the distance from the source. 
 Specifically, if the distance from the source to the inside of the 
wall is much less than the distance from the source to the outside of 
the wall, then the dose reduction at the outside of the wall is due 
not only to the shielding effect of the wall but decreased fluence 
that can be calculated using the inverse square law.
