Some of the rocket nozzels I am familiar with (i.e., those that are currently
in production) use between one (1) and two (2) percent thorium (dioxide) in
the manufacturing process.  The progeny are typically out of equilibrium by a
bit (i.e., the Th-228 tends to be at least 20  percent lower in concentration
than the Th-232, depending upon age).  If the ones you are referring to are
older, my numbers may not be of any help.  Happy Thanksgiving.
