New part N of CRCPD regs

Dear Radsafers,

I think the following information will be useful for those interested in
"Technologically Enhanced Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials".

The last version of Part N from the CRCPD and the Rationale for it were
published on Monday, 23 November on the CRCPD website:
http://www.crcpd.org. For download click on "What's new".

"On October 15, 1998, the CRCPD Board of Directors approved the
September 1998 draft of Part N, Regulation and Licensing of
Technologically Enhanced Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials
(TENORM) and the Rationale. Part N is currently in review by the EPA,
the FDA, and the NRC. While the CRCPD board has approved this version of
Part N, it has not yet received Federal Concurrence."

Kind regards
