failures of composite, hi pressure scba cylinders

A "Federal Register" notice, today (December 14, 1998, page 68819), from 
DOT-RSPA calls attention to reported failures of composite, hi pressure scba 
cylinders which have been exposed to strong corrosive agents.  If your 
organization uses this type of cylinder I recommend reviewing this notice
for 
possible actions that may be appropriate.
