We are looking for a couple of Health Physicists/Radiological Engineers
with recent NRC or NRC Licensee experience  (actual NRC or power reactor
licensee preferred) .  The actual work location is in NW Las Vegas,

POSITION TITLE:   Senior Scientist

Job Description:
Provides development and preparation support for drafts of the License
Application for the Yucca Mountain Project. Develops radiation protection
in license application preparation, design development, and regulatory
matters to ensure proper incorporation of radiation safety.  Emphasis will
be on regulatory requirements and guidance, consensus standards, and good
practices to achieve protection of the public, workers, and the
environment.  Interacts with design and regulatory/licensing functions, and
develops and integrates radiation protection program to achieve proper
results. Emergency preparedness will also be addressed.

Required Education:
BA/BS in Health Physics or related technical field.

Required Skills:
Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of direct relevant experience. Must
have knowledge of and familiarity with NRC regulations, guides, and ALARA
approach are necessary. Excellent written and verbal skills are required.
