Thorium impregnated lantern mantles are not uncommon, so it is not clear how much interest your post might generate.  However, in the interest of communication, you should be more specific.  RADSAFERs generally know that everything is, to some extent, radioactive.  Consequently, saying "radioactive mantle" means no more than saying "mantle."
