     In Service Inspections (ISI) are NDE exams performed on 
     system/component pressure boundaries in accordance with the ASME code 
     after the system/component is placed "in service" as opposed to during 
     fabrication/construction. The exams are conducted to verify 
     (hopefully) the continued integrity of the pressure boundary.ISI work 
     is performed when the reactor is shutdown.
     
     Depending on the specific system and its location, ISI work can be 
     very dose intensive and time consuming.
