Hi,  

This company (AWARE Electronics Corp) made some really nifty little
detectors (inexpensive) that hooked  into a computer - these detectors
measured ambient dose rate in microrad per hour, and could be set to
automatically alarm if dose rate exceeded a user-set level.   In
addition the system could easily provide readings of the integrated
radiation dose over any time period desired.

The most recent (1993) contact info I have  lists Bryan J. Boardman as
the Manager for AWARE Electronics Corp in Wilmington, Delaware, with a
single phone/fax # of (302) 655-3800.

Does anyone have e-mail or website addresses for this company?
