CORRECTION TO POSTING BELOW:
The figure of "500 mR/hr" should read "500 R/hr". My error. Sorry.

 Very High Radiation sign-Nuclear</A>

 An 8"x10" aluminum warning sign used to placard a 500 mR/hr area has been
bid
 up to $47.99 in 12 bids! Don't these signs sell for less than $48 new today?

A similar sign by the same seller for high explosive warning- See:

<A HREF="http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=76334798";>
eBayitem 76334798 (Ends 03/16/99 18:52:08 PST) - DANGER HIGH EXPLOSIVES -
MetalSign</A>
 is only at $11. I guess this gives some sort of idea of the public's
consideration of relative risks.
