C-14 at Research Reactors

2. What is the emission of C-14 from different research reactors? Is
there any methods to decrease the emission? Is neutron activation of O
and N in water the main source for C-14 in research reactors?
Very low.
Reduction methods are the same as for reducin Ar-41 production, exclude air
(usually by the use of CO2).
Yes, primarily N(n,p).
