Re: Looking for a very high count rate alpha meter



How about Bicron's Surveyor M? I believe that it was originally designed
for use with alpha scintillation probes, for the folks at ORNL. (I suspect
that the "M" denotes Martin Marietta.) The highest range is x1000 (and is
labelled "scintillation only"), which gives you a top end of 1,000,000 cpm
(1 Mcpm).
