RE: radsafe
Has anyone heard if the truck reached WIPP yet? Seven hour trip, plus
required stops, it should be there by now?

For those of you who haven't heard, the first shipment to WIPP
left Los Alamos a little after 7:30 pm last night. The next
truck arrived at LANL this morning to be loaded but is unlikely
to be shipped for 10 days or so. This is due to the large
religious celebrations in the Santa Fe area during the week
leading up to Easter. This includes thousands of walkers along
the highways heading to a small chapel north of Santa Fe. So
there are both safety and public relations concerns with a
truck leaving next week.
