Old survey meter
I've been asked by a physics undergraduate for some information on an old
Ecko survey meter (model N596). It appears to be an ion chamber unit with
a detection chamber about 20 cm in diameter. It seems to have used several
batteries, none of which is likely to be obtainable now.
Have any of the old hands ever used one of these? Would anyone have a
handbook...I know, a faint hope indeed.
Thanks in advance
Mike
