Re: non-ionizing listserver

Regarding laser safety and or list server, check with the Laser Institute of America (LIA) by mail: 12424 Research Pkwy, Suite 125, Orlando, FL 32826, by telephone (407) 380-1553 or
(800) 34-LASER
or go to the web,

http://www.laserinstitute.org

Look for LIA or European Medical Laser Association conference proceedings, Oct. 28-31, 1999 or check the American Institute of Physics (AIP.org?) site for subscription information to the Journal of Laser Applications (800) 344-6902.

A four day conference recently convened in Orlando from March 8-11, 1999. If you are interested in training courses, check out laser hazards and inspection course, May 17-21, 1999 based on ANSI Z136.1 -4.5 ABIH CM points.

Does anyone know of a listserver for laser safety?
Also, I am looking for any anecdotes that have been encountered with
laser safety issues that have involved the "Lasers on a key chain" that
can be purchased at the corner market. Please reply direct, unless it is
of interest for radsafe.

regards
dan
