Associate Project Manager

          You will be responsible for managing all aspects of a systems'
          order to ensure that it is designed, manufactured, tested to
          specifications, and shipped in a timely manner.  This will
          involve the preparation and submittal of customer quotes and
          proposals, coordinating site activities and being the single
          point of contact for the customer.

          We require an A.S. (B.S. preferred) degree in a physical science,
          nuclear, electrical or mechanical engineering/technology.  In
          addition, management and business courses also preferred.  1+
          years in a position using detectors or computer systems and 2+
          years planning, organizing, directing, controlling,
          communicating, coordinating, and motivating interdisciplinary
          resources.

          Candidates must have:
          

·    Strong verbal and written communication skills
          ·    Knowledge of PC software applications
          ·    Ability to be a team player and work with many departments
to get information and request                          action
          ·    Ability to make presentations
          ·    Availability for up to 20% travel
          ·    Ability to lead integrated product development teams
          ·    Basic knowledge of nuclear physics and spectroscopy
          ·    Knowledge of theory relevant to Canberra products and
services preferred

          Other requirements include: knowledge of foreign culture business
          practice (beneficial) ;
          knowledge of time management techniques; and, the ability to
multi-task.
