Physics Society listserv.

The University of Georgia has an immediate opening for an Environmental
Coordinator for radiation safety. The Environmental Coordinator for
radiation safety would oversee and coordinate the University's radiation
safety program. The radiation safety program has three full-time health
physicists and two radiation technicians. Within the University of Georgia
campus their are 166 licensed users of radioisotopes, and a veterinary
medicine hospital having both nuclear medicine and diagnostic X-ray
facilities. The University is a major research institution with an
enrollment of more than 23,326 undergraduate and 6,457 graduate. More

www.uga.edu. The coordinator would report to the manager of the
Environmental Safety Division. Qualifications for the position are a
scientific degree, formal training in radiation safety, a minimum of 5
years experience radiation safety and management, excellent communication
and supervisory skills, and good computer skills. Preferred qualifications
are a masters in Health Physics with RSO experience on a university campus.
