Pissing away tritium

I'm having a bit of a problem with a short-term beer treatment for tritium
ingestion.

A human in round numbers has 50 liters of water. As i understand it most of
that water is in equilibrium. Certainly the blood and ordinary soft tissues
such as muscles are in equilibrium, and these cover about 30 liters.
Therefore, to reduce your tritium load by a factor of e you must turn over 50
liters of water.

I can reasonably see the RSO telling the patient that he must drink five extra
liters of water per day for the next month, but a short term treatment with a
single six-pack, or even 2 or 3, is unlikely to be effective.
