Re: Value for skin thickness for calf area of body
ICRP-59 gives the epidermal thickness of extremities, including both
arms and legs, as ranging between 2 mg/cm^2 and 10 mg/cm^2 with an
average of 6 +/- 1.9 mg/cm^2. ICRP-59 references Whitton and Everall
(1973) "The thickness of the epidermis" British Journal of Dermatology,
89 (467-476).
