Meeting Announcement - 10th Eberline User Conference
The 10th Eberline User Group Conference will be held July 27th
thru the 29th. Bill Schamblin and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory ,
Health Physics Division Calibration Group are sponsoring this years
meeting to be sited at the "Park Vista Resort Hotel" in Gatlinburg
Tennessee.
The Eberline User Group meeting is open to all users of Eberline
equipment. There is no meeting fee. The meeting allows the participants
to get together in an informal atmosphere to discuss common problems and
solutions. Papers are presented with a wide range of topics relevant to
the Nuclear Power, DOE, Medical, Industrial Hygiene and Health Physics
communities.
The Eberline User Group Meeting will be useful for anyone
responsible for Eberline instrumentation, whether for operation,
calibration, repair or regulatory complience. Some of the subjects
covered include: Passive internal monitoring, Free release criteria,
RadNet, Personnel Monitoring, Laundry and small article monitoring,
Scrap/Vehicle monitoring, HPIC, Automated Health Physics Data handling,
Electronic dosimetry, air sampling, Final site closeout surveys, Radon
discrimination, ANSI-N323, and Equipment repair and operational issues.
To secure hotel arangements at the special rate, all hotel room
reservations need to be placed by June 25th 1999 and must be made
