Actually no one said that. That is your own conclusion. You seem to be
missing the point.

Well, this somewhat puzzling (unreal?)subject has attracted some
attention. Good!

For the time being, it has been said that a paper has been published on
this subject and If anybody has read it, I would appreciate getting the
relevant details.
I did not intend to ask for more than that! 

Regarding your verdict "ignorance of...", that's just jumping too soon
into erroneous conclusions; give a bit of chance to  this matter to be
unvestigated further. May be someone will send us the (controversial?)
article!

By the way, the interaction of ultrasonic waves with biological media
may lead to several other effects, not only thermal. Discussion on
ultrasonics, their effects, etc... is beyond the scope of this forum.

Only my opinion.
