repair in RNA-based organisms

Greetings!

Does anyone in Radsafe-land know of any references I can look at that would
describe mutation repair mechanisms and their effectiveness in RNA-based
organisms? Or, barring any formal citations, can anyone tell me who might
be working in this area? My interest stems from the possibility that
RNA-based organisms may have been important very early in the history of
life, a time of great importance to my research.

Thanks -

Andy
