One more note:
I would used "natural thorium" for naturally occurring (unprocessed) form and for
thorium chemically separated from upprocessed ores. In activity calculations I
would include all daughters. Total activity of "natural thorium" will depend on
initial mixture ("natural uranium" contribution) and time from chemical
separation of thorium.
