Portable Gamma Spec Radwaste Characterization Assessment...

Radsafers,

Looking for information on companies or individuals having the expertise in providing independent assessments regarding the utilization of portable gamma spectroscopy systems for characterizing containerized radwaste.  Specifically looking for someone to evaluate the current facility application of portable gamma spec practices in providing technically defensible radiological characterization.  Facility operations involve radionuclide distributions containing mixed fission products along with pure beta and pure alpha emitters.  Part of the independent assessment would include suggestions on improving the application of portable gamma spec technology for radioactive waste characterization.
