Description: Assistant Director for Radiation and Reactor Safety - The
person in this position manages and conducts the radiation protection
programs at the University of Rhode Island (URI) campuses and at he
State of Rhode Island Nuclear Science Center (RINSC - 2 MW research
reactor). This individual assures compliance with all applicable state
and federal regulations. The individual will also serve on the URI and
RINSC Radiation Safety Committees. The candidate is required to have a
Master's degree in Radiological Health Physics or related field  and
have a minimum of three years experience in radiation protection at a
nuclear reactor. The State of Rhode Island is an equal opportunity
