I do not know the series. But if it really were the case, that the chemical
hazards of uranium are well studied and understood, then I wonder why no
country has to my knowledge any regulations regarding maximum permissible
concentrations of uranium in drinking water. Only recently the European
Union regulations for drinking water were published, without mentioning of
uranium as chemical pollutant. To my knowledge the EPA has made a proposal,
but no laws or ordinances exist in the USA.
