TCE Trichloroethylene is a metal cleaning solvent that was used at the
UF6 enrichment facilities (and in many, many industries). It's a
suspect carcinogen and due to historic waste handling practices is
monitored as an environmental contaminant.
Kyle is correct on the ClF3: inleakage of moist air and other
decomposition forces (heat, intense alpha irradiation, etc.) convert
gaseous UF6 to undesrieable solid Uranium compounds, UO2F2, UF5, etc.;
application of gaseous ClF3 reverses (vigorously) those reactions.

If I recall correctly, ClF(subscript: 3) is carbon trifluoride, which
has been
used to remove deposits of uranium from process (enrichment) equipment.
I think
it works by reacting with the uranium deposit converting the uranium to
UF
(subscript: 6), then the UF(subscript: 6) can be recovered.

Radsafers,
I just encountered a few French abbreviations related to the production
(enrichment) of uranium. These are ClF3, T.C.E. and P.C.E. - supposed to
be
some chemical substances (used or produced in the order of tons). Can
anyone
help me with translation into standard chemical jargong? The first one
resembles a freon but in that case a carbon must be missing.
