Another correction....
When the security folks realized what a bad decision the "one color"
scheme was, they quickly switched back to the old scheme of badge
colors --- noting that it is generally bad policy to let "perceptions" or
"feelings" drive your security program.
This may have parallel implications, not sure.....??

Just a correction (from a badge wearer). It wasn't pink and blue or
"sexist," it was yellow (actually sort of orange) for L clearance, dark
blue for Q clearance, red for building access only, and there was an
implied status. The badges are now green and have a number that
indicates clearance level.....
