"Radioactive fork, dear?" is the title of an article by Bruce B. Auster on
page 35 of the September 20, 1999, issue of U.S. News and World Report.
This article (set as another Paducah story) seems to be designed to
undermine NRC efforts to set reasonable standards for clearance of slightly
