Les, I assume that you mean that an ample number of Control
Dosimeters, that were annealed at the same time the field dosimeters
were annelaed and issued, are maintained, stored properly, and then
processed along with the field dosimeters?
Actually, if you're using either LiBO or LiF, the fade for all
practical purposes levels off after approximately 120 days, to about
0.81. Ca elements have less fade, even up to and after 120 days.
A long term fade study should be performed and documented, since
there will be some variation based on system setup.
