Alternative Terms for Collective Dose

RADSAFERS of all genders: Please Dismount, regroup, and prepare to attack on
foot (meaning off-line) regarding the Person-Rem vs. Man-Rem vs. Wommon-Rem (or
Sievert) issue.

With all of the comments about "proper usage," did ANYONE happen to notice that
the original post request was from a Korean? Presumably that means the lecture
that he was preparing was for a Korean audience and would be in Korean? Now I
don't think I know any Korean words (except maybe "Tae Kwon Do" or "Kimchee")
and I certainly don't know anything about the gender cases in Korean. But I'm
truly willing to give a (presumably) non-native-English speaker a great deal of
slack in politically correct English when there are ample historical and text
book (both HP-technical and linquistic) precedents for his choice of words.

Thank you to those who addressed his original question. And to those who want
to argue the terminology, please refer to one of the several small volumes that
have been published of Politically Correct Bedtime Stories, fairy tales, etc.
Please flame me off-line! And I suspect Melissa is hovering near in the ether.

The opinions expressed here are strictly mine own - unless you happen to agree.
