Among the reported criticality accidents are the
following:

- Vinca, Yougoslavia (10-15-1958, 1 death
- Oak Ridge, USA (1958)
- Idaho Falls, USA (01-03-1961), 3 deaths (trauma)
- Mol, Belgium (12-30-1965)
- Los Alamos,USA (08-21-1945,05-21-1946 and  
12-30-1958), 1 death
- Rhode Island, USA (07-24-1964), 1 death
- Buenos-Aires, Argentina (09-23-1983), 1 death
- Soviet Union (3 accidents in the 1950's)
