Re: Chicago Tribune Radiation Chart -Reply



I am curious to what page the original article was on verses the
retraction.  Was the retraction buried in the paper where someone who
would have seen it the first time probably wouldn't have read the
retraction? This seem to be very common with mistakes like this.

The following day, a correction to the graphic that Otto Rabbe mentioned
was
printed.  The values were corrected to 500,000 mrem and 200,000 mrem.

The Chicago Tribune does have a Web site (www.chicagotribune.com),
but since
the articles are in their archives, there is a charge of $1.95 per article
to access this information.
