Judge Won't Block Incinerator
Judge Won't Block Incinerator - (IDAHO FALLS) -- A federal judge has
refused to block the construction of a nuclear waste incinerator in
eastern Idaho. U-S District Judge Alan Johnson ruled against Jackson.
Wyoming residents who say they will be the downwind victims of the
incinerator at the INEEL. However, the opponents of the project did
pick up more support when the Shoshone and Arapaho Tribes complained
about potential emissions. The Department of Energy insists there's
no reason for anyone to worry about emissions.
