    GE's Chart of the Nuclides (14th edition) gives 2.410E4 years, and cites 
    the National Nuclear Data Centre at BNL.

Just searched for the best estimate for the half-life of plutonium 239 - is 
it 24300 years (I have seen this commonly quoted), 24100 years, or 24065 
years (ICRP, 1983) or yet some other value?
