The last line of that review says it all: "But don't let experts spoil
your fun."

The problem is, many members of the public adhere to a variety of fringe
beliefs (religiously).  Some people believe we have starships as seen in
Star Trek and Star Wars.  My late great-uncle once asked me in all
seriousness about the UFO visitations he'd seen all kinds of programs
about on The "Learning" Channel.  Then there are the conspiracists, who
are sure that no matter what you tell them, you are really hiding "The
Truth" (The Matrix took that world view to an extreme conclusion). 
Folks, you're fighting more than technological ignorance here--it's the
culture.
