While perusing NCRP Report No. 120 "Dose Control At Nuclear Power
Plants" I came across a bit of information I do not understand.
Chapter 5, section 5.3 discusses design dose objectives. The second
paragraph in this section refers to The CEGB of The UK establishing a
design objective (for a US design PWR) "to keep annual dose to less
than 24 person-Sv per field worker". Can someone explain this please?
Thanks in advance!
