Protocol Review

I am at a small University and am wanting to address the protocol review
process. I am very interested in learning how other University's
tackle this process. Mainly, I am interested in finding out if
Authorized Users submit individual protocols for every project? Or do
they apply to use certain isotopes for a broad protocol, with that
being the end of the process? In either case, does your Institutional
Radiation Safety Committee request for review and approval updated
protocols? If so, how often?

I would appreciate any comments from any individuals out there at all
sizes of Universities, either privately or on Radsafe if you feel others
might be interested in this as well. Thanks in advance.
