[ RadSafe ] EPD telemetry

Can anyone provide any advice or experience regarding the best frequency
to use for EPD telemetry? I'm looking for optimum performance through or
around shielding and equipment, but avoiding "confrontation" with
radios, cell phone towers, FCC regulators, etc. Note I'm NOT asking for
data on spiking due to RF from walkie-talkies and welding equipment, but
the transmission capability between the base unit and the worker.
