[ RadSafe ] Another Letter to the Editor about DU

Thank you, Roger. I had incorrectly assumed that an "internationally famous
DU expert" had the appropriate credentials to support that assertion.

I will be more careful next time.

"Dr Moret" dropped out of the doctoral program in Geology at UC Davis ..
they declined to add anything further when I inquired, only said that she
was no longer a student and did not complete the program.

The Battle Creek Enquirer not only published my letter, but it also
published two letters from local readers that were critical of Moret's
column.

The reporter contacted me for further information about contacts for
qualified experts and addresses authoritative websites, which I provided.

Dr. Moret took note on a listserver that "colonels were coming out of the
woodwork" in response to her column. This was before my letter appeared but
after I mentioned in on Radsafe. Hi, Lauren!

Some you have privately expressed support when I tell you of another anti-DU
article in the media. Some of you have privately asked me to stop sending
such notes to Radsafe. I would like to know what is preferred: to keep this
to myself or let you know what the activists are saying about DU and my
occassional responses.

I am very interested in following this issue, as well as all the inflated or
downright deceptive "news" on radiological issues. And, I am interested to
see your responses, because I believe it is extremely important that the
professional community is responding, and I like the opportunity to support
the response.

My vote is that I'd like to continue to see the notes.
