Thank you for sharing this interesting finding. Being to my knowledge the first from animals living their 'normal' wildlife, it is just one of several others which have been addressed by the following excerpt ("as in animals") from the very recent report of another at least as prestigious scientific body as the NAS.

"They [the by now well understood biologic defence mechanisms] strongly suggest that a threshold or a practical threshold does exist and even, for some cancer sites, as in animals, so does a hormetic effect." /2, p.73, original italics/
So I would not consider persistence in raising this issue as flaming.
