Hi everybody

I need your views on the specific matter of a central registry for external doses received by radiation workers.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of having or not having a central database where records are kept of external doses?
Why do you have to have a central database?
Who is responsible for such a central registry?
How do they do it in other countries?
Should a country decide not to have a central database, what practical measures can be implemented to ensure proper record keeping of accumulation of doses per worker, etc?

Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards
Frik Beeslaar
